Stolen RV recovered, one arrested in Aguanga

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies recovered a stolen recreational vehicle and arrested the driver in Aguanga Wednesday, Dec. 6. According to a representative with the Department's Media Information Bureau, at 12:10 p.m. deputies located a stolen RV. They conducted a vehicle stop on State Highway 371 and Lake Vista in Aguanga. The two occupants of the vehicle were detained. The driver, 56 year old Joseph Navas, was taken into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle. The passenger was released. Navas faces charges of felony possession of a stolen vehicle and is being held at Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on $10,000 bail.
