RIVERSIDE COUNTY – A child from the Coachella Valley died from flu-associated illness, prompting Riverside County health officials to remind the community of the potential dangers of influenza for both the young and old.The child, who was less than 5 years old, was pronounced dead at a hospital in the Coachella Valley earlier in December.
