Riverside chase ends in arrest, two children found in car

In Riverside County, a chase ensued involving a suspect, Adriana Sandoval, 26, and Johnathan Roldan, 24, who allegedly attempted to aid her escape. The incident began in a business parking lot on Sunnymead Boulevard when deputies responded to a report of Sandoval refusing to vacate her vehicle. As officers neared, she fled, nearly hitting one of them.

The pursuit extended onto the 60 and 215 freeways, where Sandoval reportedly collided with several vehicles. She was eventually cornered on the 215 Freeway near Blaine Street in Riverside, where she barricaded herself inside her car. During this standoff, Roldan, driving in the wrong direction, tried to obstruct Sandoval’s arrest.

Two unharmed children found in Sandoval’s car were placed in protective custody. Both Sandoval and Roldan were apprehended, with Sandoval’s bail set at $100,000.
