With President’s Day Monday, Feb. 19, Caltrans said there will be no lane closures from that holiday at 6 a.m. until Tuesday Feb. 20, at 6 p.m., which is welcome news to traveling residents in the Valley. Regular Caltrans work will resume following the holiday.Still, motorists in the Valley should be watchful as many local schools will be out. Many children could be playing outdoors over the long weekend break, if it is not raining as predicted that weekend, Feb. 17-19.
