MENIFEE – Menifee’s Community Development Department will host a free workshop Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9-11 a.m. at Menifee City Hall, 29844 Haun Road, to discuss the city’s First Time Homebuyer Assistance Program. The program offers up to $100,000 in down payment assistance and closing costs for qualifying applicants. Attendees of the workshop will learn about the home-buying process and details of applying for the program.The First Time Homebuyer Program is designed to assist lower-income individuals with the purchase of their first home. Assistance may be provided for the down payment or closing cost for the purchase of the home.
