Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District’s annual Annual Splash into Spring Event will feature a plethora of family fun activities designed to teach attendees about the process EVMWD uses to treat more than 5.5 million gallons of sewer water per day, organizers said. In a news release about the event, EVMWD spoke about the free event, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. until noon at EVMD headquarters, 31315 Chaney Street in Lake Elsinore, saying the event showcases water, reliability, conservation, and treatment through interactive displaysThose in attendance at the annual open house event will also learn about the construction and maintenance of more than 700 miles of pipeline throughout the EVMWD service area and how to save water with a more water efficient hom
