MURRIETA – Murrieta Fire & Rescue announced the appointment of Doug Strosnider as the department’s new fire marshal.“It is an honor to serve as Murrieta’s next fire marshal,” Strosnider said. “Prevention is the most effective way to keep our community and firefighters safe. My fire service career started in 1991, and my passion and love for the job has not waned. I look forward to using my expertise to protect Murrieta.”Strosnider assumed the role Sunday, March 10.
