SACRAMENTO – The Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association – Government Appointments Committee announced the appointment of Sophia Choi to the Superior Court of Riverside County.
“As the daughter of immigrant parents, I am honored by this judicial appointment from Gov. Newsom, and I am deeply grateful for the support from the APAPA-GAC,” Choi said. “I am very mindful that behind each case there are people whose lives are affected by courtroom decisions. I will continue to carry that mindset and act responsibly and attentively as I carefully listen to each case knowing the impact I will make on people’s lives.”
