Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District’s annual Annual Splash into Spring Event featured a plethora of family fun activities designed to teach attendees about the process EVMWD uses to treat more than 5.5 million gallons of sewer water per day.The free event, which was held for Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. until noon at EVMWD headquarters, 31315 Chaney Street in Lake Elsinore, showcased water reliability, conservation, and treatment through interactive displays.Those in attendance at the annual open house event also learned about the construction and maintenance of more than 700 miles of pipeline throughout the EVMWD service area and how to save water with a more water efficient home.
