MURRIETA – Fourth graders and older adults with dementia will get a jump start on the “hoppiest” holiday when they shared story time and an Easter egg hunt Tuesday, March 26, at Vineyard Place, an Anthem Memory Care community at 24325 Washington Ave. in Murrieta. The youngsters, who are students at Cole Canyon Elementary School, will choose their favorite holiday tales to read to the seniors. The residents and families decorated the easter eggs for the hunt. “Our seniors are looking forward to sharing these cherished traditions from their past,” Christopher Balmes, life engagement director for Vineyard Place, said. “When the children read aloud to our seniors it will help spark memories and imagination, and it’s a great activity to connect the two generations.”[ca
