Senator Seyarto announces ten bills move forward to assembly

SACRAMENTO – Senator Kelly Seyarto (R-Murrieta) announced that ten bills from his 2024 legislative package have passed out of the State Senate and are now headed to the Assembly. These bills cover a wide variety of issues important to the 32nd Senate District and California as a whole, including Veteran benefits, government reform, public safety, and infrastructure funding. The bills are as follows: SB 73 Allows private businesses to establish voluntary hiring preferences for Veteran applicants. SB 230 Provides an income-eligible tax deduction to a taxpayer for the amount they contribute to a Health Savings Account.
