The Eastern Municipal Water District board awarded Kennedy/Jenks Consultants the final design contract for the Soboba Sewer Project.Because Kennedy/Jenks had performed the preliminary design work the June 5 action officially approved an amendment to the design contract to cover final design, trenchless design, and surveying services for the gravity sewer. Kennedy/Jenks, which is based in San Francisco and has offices in San Diego and Murrieta, will be paid an additional $425,604 for the work. The board action also approved a $32,450 contract with Woodard & Curran, which is headquartered in Sacramento with offices in San Diego and Irvine, for third-party trenchless design review of the Soboba Sewer Project.
