SPRINGFIELD, MA - Western New England University held its College of Engineering Senior Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 18 in the Anthony S. Caprio Alumni Healthful Living Center. The University honored 11 graduating seniors selected for their exceptional performance in their major or their overall class standing.Riley Franzo of Canyon Lake received the Biomedical Engineering Professional Practice Award. This award is presented to a senior biomedical engineering student who has demonstrated an exceptional understanding of professional engineering practice principles. Examples include outstanding performance on their senior design project, internships, and other extracurricular activities.
