Motorcycle vs two vehicle collision slows traffic on I15 South

A motorcycle accident on I15 south, just south of the Mission Rd onramp in Fallbrook this morning involving a truck and another car briefly caused disruptions along I15, according to a California Highway Patrol (CHP) incident report. The crash occurred at approximately 6:23 a.m., when a motorcyclist was reportedly lane-splitting and was struck by a truck.

The motorcyclist then collided with another vehicle, according to the CHP report. However, all vehicles involved were able to move to the center divider, preventing further traffic delays.

CHP officers were dispatched to the scene at 6:28 a.m., with the first unit arriving at 6:47 a.m. Roadway Tow was notified and responded to remove the vehicles, arriving on the scene by 7:01 a.m. and completing the tow shortly after 7:16 a.m.

No serious injuries were reported, and the scene was cleared without major delays to morning traffic.
