Funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was allocated to state, territorial, Tribal, and local governments but not to school districts including community college districts. Allocation of that funding must meet ARPA requirements but does not need to be used by the local government agency itself, and that agency may allocate ARPA funding to special districts or school districts.
