Suspect in criminal threats case arrested in Anza

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 52000 block of Saddleback Road in Anza at 4:03 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, regarding an unknown trouble call for service. The caller requested a police response and disconnected.Upon arrival, deputies determined the male suspect had made criminal threats to harm himself and family members. With the assistance of the Riverside Sheriff's Special Enforcement Bureau, the suspect was taken into custody without incident, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Media Information Bureau Public Information Officer Lieutenant Deirdre Vickers."There were about a dozen or so sheriff's cars going up Tripp Flats then turning right onto Saddleback Road around 5," said a witness.
