Nature Education Foundation at the Santa Rosa Plateau volunteers thanked at luncheon in Wildomar

The Nature Education Foundation at the Santa Rosa Plateau took time to thank the more than 200 volunteers who helped the youth nature education programs and special events throughout the past year Saturday, Feb. 15 in Wildomar.The volunteers and members of the NEF Board gathered at Geinger Greaves, the Foundation’s executive director in Wildomar, to enjoy an appreciation luncheon, the presentation of awards and special recognition for their many volunteer hours of work in forwarding the mission of the NEF to “educate and empower youth to appreciate, preserve and protect nature,” with many of its programs held at the Riverside County Regional Park & Open Space District-managed Santa Rosa Plateau above Murrieta and Wildomar.[gallery td_select_gallery_slide="slide" ids="9841
