Murrieta Fire Chief Bernard Molloy at the Murrieta City Council meeting March 4 provided the Murrieta Fire & Rescue report for 2024 showing the department answered 123,285 calls from residents who used the phone number 911 for an emergency.The report provided a detailed account of the department’s accomplishments, key statistics, and ongoing efforts to enhance public safety throughout the past year.The chief later in a news release said, “Murrieta Fire & Rescue is presenting our annual report to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to protecting and serving this community with professionalism and innovation.”In the report, he noted the department 911 calls in 2024 were up a total of 5.65%.
