MURRIETA – Dorothy McElhinney Middle School (DMMS) has earned the prestigious designation as a California School to Watch, recognizing its commitment to academic excellence, student-centered learning, and innovative teaching practices. This honor is awarded by the California League of Middle Schools (CLMS) in partnership with the California Department of Education and is part of a national program identifying high-performing middle schools. To achieve this recognition, DMMS underwent a competitive application process, followed by an in-depth school site visit by middle school education experts from across the nation.
