SAN JACINTO – San Jacinto Unified School District is looking for community partners to ensure the success of a newly launched pilot program to enhance transition services for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The District, in collaboration with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), developed an “Achieving Critical Employment Skills” (ACES) program, designed to serve as a model throughout California. Representatives from each organization met at SJHS recently to get a firsthand look at the program.
