Bradley Street Bridge Construction plans moving ahead in Menifee: Closure seen

The Menifee City Council on Wednesday, May 7, discussed the planned construction of a $16 million Bradley Road Bridge over Salt Creek that may result in the closure of that road for some months in the near future.The meeting with all five city council members present brought Carlos Geronimo, city engineer manager, to explain the planned cost and information about the construction of the bridge that will prevent the heavy flooding from Salt Creek in the future.The time of the needed closure of the north/south street has still to be determined by the selected contractor when construction details were provided by the Public Works Department, but it was estimated it will be several months.The Public Works Department received approval from the city manager to execute a contract serv
