Two Traffic Collisions Reported on I-215 South in Murrieta

MURRIETA — Emergency responders were dispatched to two separate traffic collisions on Interstate 215 South in Murrieta on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The first incident occurred at approximately 9:04 p.m. near Murrieta Hot Springs Road. Authorities reported a collision involving a pickup truck and a dark-colored sedan blocking lanes. Murrieta Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, and police confirmed that it was the second collision in the area.

Shortly thereafter, at around 9:00 p.m., another traffic collision was reported on I-215 South near Los Alamos Road. This crash involved two vehicles, with one of them reportedly overturning and blocking the fast lane. Emergency responders, including CHP and local fire units, were dispatched, and a tow service was requested to clear the scene.

As of the most recent update, details on injuries from either collision have not been disclosed. Motorists were advised to exercise caution and expect delays in the area. The cause of both accidents remains under investigation.
