MENIFEE – Shots were fired in front of the Ross department store on Antelope Road in Menifee around 9:19 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23. No one was hurt in the incident, and thanks to the swift work of Menifee police officers and help from community members, two suspects are now in custody.
Police were called to the scene after the shooting was reported. Officers arrived quickly, secured the area, and began speaking with witnesses and gathering evidence. Their quick action paid off: within minutes, they tracked down a vehicle less than a mile away that was linked to the shooting. A search of the car turned up additional evidence connecting the suspects to the crime.
