Crews push to restore power after Rosa Fire in Pinyon, Springcrest, Carrizo

A message from Anza Electric Cooperative general manager Kevin ShortAs we enter week two of our restoration efforts from the Rosa Fire, I want to update our members as to our progress and let everyone know what we have been working on to return to normal operating status in the Pinyon/Springcrest/Carrizo areas.We have been onsite since shortly after the fire broke out on Monday, August 4. Our crews have been working in the field from before dawn to after dark every day in excessive heat, assessing the damage and effecting repairs. Our goal has been to restore full service to everyone in the affected areas.Work is slow-going in the fire area due to the steep and rocky terrain.
