A program called D5 Furry Pets Foster Care which provides foster care to dogs and cats in the County of Riverside’s Fifth Supervisorial District has been allocated Unincorporated Communities Initiative funding.The Riverside County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 July 29 to provide $160,000 of Unincorporated Communities Initiative funding to the county’s Department of Animal Services for the D5 Furry Pets Foster Care program which is operated out of the San Jacinto animal shelter.
