UPDATE – The Associated Press is reporting that Charlie Kirk is in critical condition after being shot during a Charlie Kirk event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, sending the packed crowd scrambling for safety.
Bystanders told Deseret News that Kirk, the Turning Point USA founder, was struck near the neck while taking student questions during a Q&A session. Video circulating online shows attendees screaming and ducking for cover as shots rang out, with witnesses immediately posting about the chaos on social media.
