Temecula moves forward with $6.1M skate park rebuild

TEMECULA — The Temecula City Council has approved plans and specifications for the long-awaited Ronald Reagan Sports Park Skate Park rebuild and authorized city staff to advertise and begin soliciting construction bids. The $6.1 million project is expected to break ground in January 2026, with completion and a community dedication projected for December of that year.The decision comes months after the city experienced a funding shortfall in May, briefly prompting discussion over whether to redesign or scale back the project.
