A contractor for the City of Temecula will be applying slurry seal pavement treatment on various Temecula public roads.The Temecula City Council voted 5-0 on September 9 to authorize the city’s Department of Public Works to solicit bids for a construction contract for the slurry seal treatment. The motion also approved the specifications for the work and found the repair and maintenance of existing streets to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review.The city has a pavement management program. The 2024-25 update assessed current pavement conditions, the time elapsed since the last preventative maintenance measure, and the geographical proximity of potential streets.
