A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning, Oct. 14. on northbound Interstate 15 south of the Old Highway 395 offramp in Bonsall, according to the California Highway Patrol.The incident was reported shortly after 12:35 a.m., when callers told dispatchers that a man was seen laying in the center divide. Then other reporting parties said he was walking in traffic lanes with his arms stretched out and waving to passing drivers. One caller said he was possibly waving down passing drivers before apparently attempting to cross the freeway.Moments later, dispatchers received reports that the pedestrian had been hit and was lying in the roadway.
