LAKE ELSINORE — At the final City Council meeting of the year on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the Lake Elsinore City Council selected Robert “Bob” Magee to serve as Mayor for 2026 and Timothy J. Sheridan to serve as Mayor Pro Tem. The selection of the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem occurs annually in December through a vote of the City Council.Magee represents District 5, which includes the Summerly community and the Downtown area. He was first elected to the Lake Elsinore City Council in 2003 and has served seven previous terms as Mayor. Over his tenure, Magee has worked on initiatives related to public safety, transportation, lake and watershed issues, and the development of parks and recreation facilities.
