PERRIS — A residential fire was reported Saturday evening, Dec. 20, in Perris, according to fire officials.
Fire logs listed the incident on Front Street, while Riverside County Fire identified the address as 111 11th St.
Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 8:47 p.m. and arrived to find a container on the side of the home fully engulfed in flames. Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire, preventing it from completely destroying the structure, though the fire extended into the attic and part of the home.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known and remains under investigation.
