OCEANSIDE - North County Transit – San Diego Railroad (NCTD) will suspend all coastal rail service on Jan. 10-11 and Jan. 24-25 to perform routine railroad maintenance and major infrastructure work.NCTD’s COASTER service between San Diego and Oceanside will be suspended during these periods. Regularly scheduled service will resume the morning after each closure on Monday, Jan. 12 and Monday, Jan. 26, respectively.Weekend closures occur periodically throughout the year on a pre-determined schedule to provide construction crews the opportunity to work safely on and along the rail line to complete preventative maintenance improvements and advance major railroad construction projects.NCTD and its project partners will use these two weekends to advance critical projects fo
