Two-vehicle crash in Moreno Valley traps one, hospitalizes three

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. —

Firefighters extricated a trapped motorist following a two-vehicle collision in Moreno Valley on Monday afternoon that sent three people to the hospital.

The crash was reported at 3:51 p.m. at the intersection of Cactus Avenue and Nason Street. According to the Incident Commander, emergency crews arrived to find two vehicles with heavy damage and one person trapped inside a vehicle.

Firefighters successfully freed the trapped individual from the wreckage.

Paramedics evaluated three patients at the scene. All three were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The Incident Commander reported the patients sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
