Supervisors approve bid advertisement for Stetson/Yale signal

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the advertisement for a construction contract which will provide a traffic signal at the East Hemet intersection of Stetson Avenue and Yale Street.The supervisors voted 5-0 January 27 to authorize the advertisement for bids. The action also set a February 18 bid opening date, approved the plans and specifications for the project, and found the project which does not create additional automobile lanes and involves negligible or no expansion of use to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review.Stetson Avenue and Yale Street are both two-lane roads at their intersection.
