TEMECULA – Rancho California Water District (Rancho Water / District) announced on Thursday, Jan. 29 that, with the support and leadership of Congressman Darrell Issa, a $1 million federal Community Project Funding request was approved to fund critical water treatment infrastructure, further underscoring the Congressman’s commitment to the importance of safe and reliable water. The funding follows President Donald Trump’s signature of the Fiscal Year 2026 Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies appropriations minibus.The funding is included in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) portion of the legislation and will be administered through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund as Community Project Funding.
