CHERRY VALLEY, Calif. — Firefighters from the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department are currently on the scene of a significant structure fire in the unincorporated community of Cherry Valley.
The blaze was first reported at 4:44 p.m. Tuesday in the 40100 block of Lincoln Street, near the intersection of Jonathan Avenue. Upon arrival, the first responding engine company reported a large barn was “fully involved” in flames.

Commanded under the identifier “Brookside IC,” fire crews immediately initiated an aggressive attack on the structure. The intensity of the fire required a substantial commitment of resources.
