GREEN ACRES, Calif. — A fire destroyed a travel trailer in Green Acres on Sunday morning, displacing one resident, according to the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to a report of a residential structure fire at 10:49 a.m. in the 26000 block of Wind Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found a travel trailer “fully involved” with fire, department officials stated.
Firefighters managed to contain the blaze to the trailer, preventing it from spreading to surrounding vegetation or structures.
One adult was displaced by the fire and is currently being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
