HEMET, Calif. — A fire at a two-story home in Hemet was successfully extinguished before fire crews arrived Friday afternoon, with all residents safely evacuating the structure.

Hemet Fire Department dispatchers received a call reporting a structure fire at approximately 12:17 p.m. on Feb. 21, 2025. Emergency personnel were immediately dispatched to a residence located in the 5200 block of Amaryllis Street.

Squad 4 was the first unit on the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters observed light smoke emitting from the garage on the right side of the house—referred to in standard fireground terminology as the “Delta side.” Emergency responders confirmed that the flames had already been put out prior to their arrival and that all residents had safely made it outside the home.
