One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after a fire broke out at a mobile home northeast of Hemet on Friday morning, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire in the 24000 block of Rosebrugh Lane at 11:07 a.m., according to the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
Upon arrival, crews located a double-wide mobile home with heavy fire and thick smoke showing from the structure. First responders initiated an aggressive attack on the blaze, successfully knocking down the flames by 11:37 a.m.
One patient at the scene sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance, fire officials said. The identity and current condition of the patient have not been released.
Fire resources remained on the scene for approximately one hour for mop-up operations and to ensure no hot spots remained.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
