Jazz and Hawaiian music performer Daniel Ho had concerts in Temecula in the late 1990s but has not returned to Temecula for a performance since. That will change on March 28 when Daniel Ho & Friends will perform at Old Town Temecula Community Theater. “It’s been a while,” Ho said. “I’m just excited to come back and hope to see familiar faces.” Ho is originally from Hawaii. He came to Los Angeles for music school and has lived in Los Angeles since 1990. During the 1990s, he formed a contemporary jazz band called Kilauea, which is the name of Hawaii’s only active volcano. “Back in the 90s, there used to be a lot of contemporary jazz bands,” Ho said. Kilauea often had concerts in Temecula. “We performed there quite regularly at Thornton Winery,” Ho said. Daniel
