TEMECULA – The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City of Temecula, will be hosting the 2026 State of the City Address. This event will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Pechanga Resort Casino. The State of the City address will be delivered by Honorable Mayor Jessica Alexander and will provide an update on the city’s remarkable progress and future plans, while also featuring a vibrant Nonprofit Expo with over 80 local organizations. With around 1,000 city officials and community leaders in attendance, this is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and be part of Temecula’s exciting future. Temecula’s incoming Mayor was first elected in 2020 to serve on the City Council, and reelected in 2024. As a proud Marine Veteran and former New York Police Officer, Alexander expresses, “It is a profound honor to serve as Mayor, and I approach this responsibility grounded in service and shared hope for 2026.” She adds, “I am deeply committed to leading with compassion, integrity and a steadfast sense of duty that strengthens the heart of Temecula’s service-oriented community.”
2026 Mayor Alexander is a strong advocate for public safety, improving the City’s infrastructure and roadways, and protecting the high quality of life that defines Temecula, including its safe neighborhoods, beautifully landscaped parks, and family-friendly amenities. She also values preserving the rural character of Temecula’s equestrian communities, along with the City’s overall picturesque appeal from the charm of Old Town to the scenic setting of Temecula Valley Wine Country.
Members of the public can watch the 2026 State of the City Address live at the Temecula Civic Center free of charge. The event will be livestreamed at the Civic Center Conference Center, located at 41000 Main Street, Temecula, and will also be available online at TemeculaCA.gov/TV.
