A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in stable condition Friday night following a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Redhawk Parkway and Via Rio Temecula.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:49 p.m. regarding reports of a vehicle-pedestrian traffic collision. Upon arrival, Riverside County Sheriffs located the pedestrian in the roadway. Emergency medical personnel subsequently transported the individual to a local
hospital. A Public Information Officer for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the patient was stable.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding deputies, according to preliminary reports.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The cause of the collision remains under active investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
