2-Alarm Fire in Perris Displaces 3, Leaves Firefighter Injured

Three adults were displaced and a firefighter was injured Tuesday afternoon after a blaze broke out at a Perris home and quickly spread to adjacent buildings. The fire was reported at 4:33 p.m. in the 300 block of East Third Street. First responders from the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department arrived to find a single-story, single-family dwelling heavily involved in flames. Due to the intensity of the blaze, the fire quickly extended into a neighboring storage facility and a commercial structure. Officials immediately requested a second alarm to bring additional firefighting resources to the scene. Crews successfully contained the fire.
