LOS ANGELES – The California Highway Patrol issued an AMBER Alert today, Monday, for a missing child, Daleza Fregoso, who authorities say is believed to be in imminent danger.
According to the alert, Fregoso was last seen at approximately 4 a.m. on May 24 in Los Angeles. Authorities did not immediately release additional details about the child or the circumstances surrounding the disappearance.
Investigators are searching for a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery bearing California license plate 9DAW715 that is believed to be associated with the case.
The alert was distributed statewide through the California Highway Patrol’s AMBER Alert system, which is used in cases involving abducted children believed to be at immediate risk of serious bodily injury or death.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or has information related to the case is urged to call 911 immediately.
