An Oceanside tournament, The Beach Soccer Championships, is one of the two largest sand soccer festivals in the world and marks the start of the summer soccer season. This year, Hemet Juventus FC won the Boys under 14‑15 Sun Division championship.
“All the kids deserved it based on all the hard work they put in,” said Hemet Juventus FC co-coach Bryan De La Cruz. “It’s just a testament to their hard work and dedication.”
The Beach Soccer Championships took place May 29-31 at Harbor Beach. Hemet Juventus FC, LIFEthruSOCCER O’Side FC, LIFEthruSOCCER Love Boat Beach SC, and LIFEthruSOCCER Sealions FC comprised the Boys under 14‑15 Sun division teams.
Hemet Juventus FC began play on May 30 with a 4-1 victory against LIFEthruSOCCER Sealions FC and also had a May 30 win over LI
