Wildomar City Council approves Old Town Specific Plan contract

The Wildomar City Council has approved a $459,225 contract with Albert A. Webb & Associates to prepare the city's long-planned Old Town Specific Plan.The council voted 4-1 on June 10 to award the professional services agreement to the Riverside-based firm, with Councilmember Joseph Morabito casting the lone dissenting vote.The planning effort will focus on the historic Old Town area surrounding Palomar Street, formerly U.S. Highway 395, and Wildomar Trail, once known as Central Avenue.
