A fast-moving vegetation fire that threatened homes east of Anza prompted a large emergency response, road closures and brief evacuation orders Thursday evening before firefighters stopped its forward progress.The June 25 fire was reported at 6:34 p.m. near the 39300 block of Rolling Hills Road in the unincorporated area of Anza.Multiple ground and air resources responded to reports of smoke and fire.
