HEMET, Calif. (AP) — Firefighters have fully contained the Domenigoni Fire, which burned 62 acres near Domenigoni Parkway and Searl Parkway in Hemet, according to fire officials.
The wildfire started Thursday, July 9. As of Friday afternoon, the fire was listed at 100% containment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No structures were reported threatened, damaged or destroyed, according to the latest incident update. Officials also reported no civilian or firefighter injuries or fatalities.
The Hemet City Fire Department is leading the response.
Fire officials have not released additional details on what sparked the blaze or when the investigation is expected to conclude.
