Photos by Robert CarterOne person was killed and another suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Gilman Springs Road that temporarily closed the roadway Monday evening.The crash occurred at the intersection of Gilman Springs Road and Alessandro Boulevard and involved a red Toyota Camry Solara and a pickup truck.According to initial reports from the scene, both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles following the collision. Several passing motorists stopped to render aid while emergency crews were en route.CAL FIRE firefighters extricated both drivers from the wreckage.
