— A vehicle overturned on Interstate 15 near Clinton Keith Road late Saturday night, Aug. 8, landing in the center divider and prompting a response from firefighters and a towing company, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 11:01 p.m. on southbound I-15 near Clinton Keith Road.
According to the CHP incident log, initial reports indicated a dark-colored Mercedes-Benz sport utility vehicle had flipped onto its side.
CAL FIRE was requested to respond to the scene at about 11:11 p.m.
A subsequent CHP entry indicated the vehicle had landed in the center divider between the southbound and northbound lanes of I-15.
Black’s Towing was requested to remove the vehicle. The towing company advised CHP that it was experiencing delays because of multiple other calls for service in the area.
The CHP initially classified the incident as a traffic collision with an ambulance responding. Information regarding injuries or the number of people involved was not immediately available.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
